Caving Adventure: Understanding the Underground

Explore karst geology in a local cave in collaboration with the Butler Cave Conservation Society and James Madison University Caving Club. Learn how the Conservancy is working to conserve these unique geological features in the region.
Moderate level caving adventure involving crawls, climbs and mud. Equipment provided. Open to participants 12 years old and older. RSVP required. Location & instructions provided upon reservation.

Hawk Watch: Raptor Migration

Join the yearly Rockfish Gap Hawk watch and learn about the Conservancy’s work to secure wildlife corridors. See raptors soar!
Bring your binoculars and spotting scope if you have them. Open to all ages & free! Location provided upon reservation.
